Why vAuto Pricing not updating in DS without error message
If a price is not coming over through the vAuto API and the vAuto is not receiving an error message: 1) Verify in the DS Plus vAuto logs that the vehicle key is being sent over in the API. If not: 2) Verify vAuto's system settings match ours (i.e if they are set to send pricing and comments we are also set to take pricing and comments). If they match: 3) Verify the price was manually entered into vAuto. The vAuto system only sends pricing over the API if the pricing is manually input by the dealer. The vAuto system will not send over the API any pricing received from another 3rd party (either through their online "scraping" tool, the dealer's DMS or other third party source) or if the price is adjusted via a rule or incentive in their system. In addition, the dealer must "finalize" the price.
