Why is a vAuto price not updating in our system? (updated 9/18/2017)
There are a couple of different reasons: 1) If vAuto has the vehicle under one lot and we have the vehicle under another, they will receive a �Wrong Lot� message and the pricing update will fail. Confirm with vAuto and the DS rep the correct location of the subject vehicles. 2) If vAuto has different settings on their end (such as Pricing & Comments) and we have different settings (such as just Pricing) this will create an error for vAuto. 3) Vehicle not found messages: there is a possibility that we may not have all the vehicles vAuto does. This is usually the case when vAuto is beign used for appraisal, or is updating from a DMS such as Reynolds and Reynolds. 4) Check to see how the price was received by vAuto. if the price was not manually entered into vAuto, then it will not push over the API. Excluded prices may include those brought in from the DMS, scrapped from an online website, and those adjusted by a rule.
