Why does my photo have black or white bars on the top or sides when uploaded into VinMotion?

VinMotion will automatically add black or white solid areas to photos if the aspect ratio is incorrect. See the example attached. When this happens, ensure the dealership or rep is uploading a 4x3 ratio or crops the photos to meet that ratio. We will store the photos in 1024x768 (if uploaded large enough) or 640 x 480 if not. We do not change storage ratios.
