Why aren't my photos showing up on GetAuto?
- Check to see if vehicle stock # is active in DSPlus using the following steps:
- Go to dealership -> click inventory -> type in stock number in field at the top.
- When correct line is highlighted:
- Right click -> copy to clipboard -> check to see if we have photos
- Go to photo display -> place curser in box to enter VIN -> right click to paste -> hit submit
- Right click -> copy to clipboard -> check to see if we have photos
- If photos show up on all servers, next check GetAuto.
- Click on the blue underlined GetAuto Vehicle Detail Page link
- Vehicle should then display as it does on GetAuto. If it does, advise, if not check next step.
- Go to dealership -> click inventory -> type in stock number in field at the top.
- Go to VIN History -> right click and paste pre-saved VIN to search box -> hit ok.
- This could take a few seconds before answer is populated in a text notepad. Look for any changes such as the word false or an "n" in any of the lines at about the 5th caracter spot after the first set of quotation marks or after the stock number is listed. A false or an "n" could indicate that the vehicle was marked sold at some point and photos were removed.
- If vehicle information is not listed in DS Plus, check reps logs for uploading. An error could have occurred, the rep will have downloaded inventory before uploading current days work thereby marking vehicles as sold, or most commonly the rep will have made changes to the warranty file or lcf. file without downloading dealer inventory first, marking all vehicles as sold.
