Why are there multiple instances of a VIN appearing in VinMotion for a dealer

If you are seeing more than one instance of a VIN in VinMotion for a dealer and they are of the same Vehicle Type (i.e. Passenger, Motorcycle, RV) and attempting to access the vehicle details on one or more of the instances results in a Check Engine page, it is likely that the cache needs to be cleared on the dealer.
