What is a QR Code?
(The QR Code option is available in Autostik version 1.52 or later.) A Quick Response (QR) Code is a matrix barcode or two-dimensional code readable by QR scanners, mobile phones with a camera, and smart phones. It can be decoded at high speed. The code consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on white background. The information encoded can be text, URL or other data. You can connect to a wireless network or open a web page in your phones browser. QR Codes are commonly used with smart-phone devices such as iPhone, Blackberry and Android to direct users to additional information about a particular topic. These unique 2D barcodes can also be used to send users to social media hubs like Facebook or Twitter to follow or like personal or business pages.
