Vehicle option not being automatically selected in RapidLot Mobile.
The VIN-decode software provider (Data One) uses documentation from the manufacturer to update the VIN-decoded information. The software only decodes Standard Features automatically. A rep can determine if that option is standard or not, by going to the Options page for a vehicle, clicking the pencil icon, then clicking the white arrow pointing in a circle at the top right of the page. Doing that will leave only standard options checked. If there are optional add-ons on the vehicle, those will need to be manually selected before saving the Options page. *NOTE - if the pencil icon just brings up vehicle descriptions and not options, it generally means that the Trim is incorrect or missing. Select the correct Trim from the drop-down and the options list will load. An incorrect Trim can also cause wrong options to be selected, as they can vary by Trim.
