"Too Many Redirects" error for VinMotion.
We typically see this if the bookmark/shortcut being used has gotten corrupted. It can also happen if the dealership was moved to a different Franchise and the account didn't transition correctly. To fix the bookmark/shortcut issue, have the user manually type in the https://vinmotion.vehicledata.com URL. If they are able to log in, advise them to delete the old bookmark/shortcut and create a new one. If this doesn't work, follow the steps below: 1: Check that the user is displaying within the correct Market/Franchise. Obtain the email address they are attempting to log in with. Make sure it is a validated email address as well. Then search the user list in the Market/Franchise for that account. If it is not available proceed to step 2, if it is available proceed to step 4. 2: Grab the user key from Insight and navigate back to VinMotion. Once in VinMotion select a user at random as you will replace the user key with the one from the user. The link will appear as follows, replace USERKEY with the users' actual User Key. Do not try to copy this URL and then just add the user key as it may give you a redirect error. https://vinmotion.vehicledata.com/Users/EditUserDetails/Index/USERKEY 3: Once the user account populates you will need to add the Market/Franchise and the dealership to their user account. 4: With the dealership added to the account have the user clear their cache and cookies. I would advise both out of precaution but it will log them out of other websites. 5: Have the user manually type in the VinMotion URL and it should navigate them to the proper login page. From there they should be good to go. If they are not double-check that the user account is searchable within VinMotion under their Market/Franchise. From there attempt steps 4 & 5 again.
