Tablet doesn't recognize the printer

As long as there isn't a RL issue or physical damage to something these steps fix nearly every instance. USB Printing ------------------ 1. Unplug USB cable from the USB dongle 2. Unplug USB dongle from the tablet 3. Turn tablet off 4. Turn printer off 5. Unplug the printer from power source 6. After the tablet has been off for 60 seconds go ahead and turn it back on 7. After the printer has been disconnected from power source for 60 seconds go ahead and plug it back into power source and turn it on 8. Verify the tablet is at the kiosk desktop wallpaper 9. Verify the printer looks normal (ie: no blinking or red lights, no error messages, etc) 10. Plug the USB dongle into the tablet 11. Plug the USB cable into the dongle and wait 60 seconds 12. Test print something outside of RapidLot (an email or webpage) 13. If successful, try printing in RapidLot 14. If still errors, repeat all these steps one more time (and make sure user follows each and every step) and then escalate if no resolution Mini Router Printing ----------------------------- 1. Unplug the network cable from the USB dongle 2. Unplug the USB dongle from the tablet 3. Turn the tablet off 4. Turn the printer off 5. Unplug the printer from power source 6. Unplug the mini router from power source 7. After the tablet has been off for 60 seconds go ahead and turn it back on 8. After the printer has been disconnected from the power source for 60 seconds go ahead and plug it back into power source and turn it on 9. After the mini router has been off for 60 seconds plug it back in 10. Verify the tablet is at the kiosk desktop wallpaper 11. Verify the printer looks normal (ie: no blinking or red lights, no error messages, etc) 12. Plug the USB dongle into the tablet 13. Plug the network cable into the dongle and wait 60 seconds 14. Test print something outside of RapidLot (an email or webpage) 15. If successful, try printing in RapidLot 16. If still errors, repeat all these steps one more time and then escalate if no resolution
