Samsung Galaxy Active Pro Tablet Tablet Used by DSP Field Services Since 2022 Best Practices to Handle and Store As of September 21, 2023 (Provided to the field) The following daily guidance will insure the DSP tablets remain in optimal condition: ● When Tablet �Not in Use� - ensure the tablet is in the �On� mode, connected to �Wi-Fi� and plugged into power. This is the �default� storage method when the tablet is not in use. This includes each night after work, including weekends and days off. (This is the required storage method to ensure regular updates are applied during off hours. The tablet hardware and software are updated frequently to fix bugs and add new feature enhancements that require an internet connection.) ● Tablets Break - It is advised to use the provided hand or shoulder strap to help minimize tablet damage. But if you do require a repair or replacement, please contact your market manager immediately to coordinate the receipt of a new one. (Each tablet has a three (3) year accidental damage warranty and we ship overnight) ● Tablet Overheating - precautionary steps to avoid the tablet overheating: o When the tablet is not in use, please keep it stored in the most cool and secure location available o Direct Sunlight is harmful - please do not leave the tablet in direct sunlight for extended periods of time. ● Immediate Troubleshooting Steps - For any notable performance issues always complete the following: 1. Clear your tablet cache, 2. Clean out tablet storage space by deleting any old content, and 3.
