Runtime Error 430 - "Class does not support Automation or does not support expected interface"

This error is usually caused by an un-registered .dll file. 1. Verify that .NET Framework 3.5.1 is installed on the laptop. Windows 7 already has the Microsoft .NET Framework pre-installed, but sometimes it has to be turned on and sometimes version 4 is installed (this version is not compatible). Go to Start -> Control Panel and select Programs & Features. On the Programs & Features page, click on 'Turn Windows features on or off' located at the upper left of the screen. You will get a popup window. Scroll to 'Microsoft .NET Framework'. If they have version 4, uninstall Microsoft .NET Framework then download and reinstall using this link: F:\Common\Public\AS\Personal\001 or http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=ab99342f-5d1a-413d-8319-81da479ab0d7&displaylang=en If they have 3.5.1 then click the + button to the left of that feature to expand the section. All 3 boxes for Microsoft .NET Framework have to be checked. Once this is done, click OK to save. 2. Download dll.bat to their AS folder from F:\common\public\reuben. Once it is downloaded, make sure ASW is closed and double-click the file to run the program. This will register the .dll files on the computer. You will get some 'failed' messages for some of the files - this is for files no longer in use. Once this completes, close the screen then reboot the computer. 3. If the error comes back after the computer reloads, rename the AS folder then re-install Autostik. Use the SetupASW.exe file from F:\common\public\AS\Personal\001. The install will create a new AS folder. Copy the Autostik.ini and Security.sec files from their old AS folder into the new one. Relaunch Autostik and try the upload or download again. Please note that this install file is one version back. The rep will need to go to Tools -> Update Software and update Autostik for Windows to get to the current version.
