Response time issues when remoting into a laptop with Windows 7.

We have seen issues with Windows 7 and the Remote Control program where there are long lag times, slow response time, or an inability to take control of the remote computer. To fix this: 1. Exit the remote session. 2. Have the field rep right-click on the DSSupport.exe icon on the desktop. (Note: if he/she doesn't have this icon, it can usually be found in their AS folder on the C-drive. Move a copy to the desktop. IF it is not in the AS folder, have the field rep download the program from Insight.vehicledata.com -> Toolbox -> Software Downloads) 3. Select Properties then click the Compatability tab. 4. Under 'Display Settings,' check the boxes to the left of the following: Disable Visual Themes Disable Desktop Composition Disable Display Scaling on High DPI Settings
