Printer won't print test page or Windows document.
1. Tell customer to unplug the printer from the laptop, turn the printer off, and unplug the printer from the power source. (DO NOT PLUG PRINTER BACK IN UNTIL THE STEP BELOW TELLS YOU TO) 2. Go to Start>Devices & Printers 3. Find the printer and right click on it>select "See what's printing">delete all jobs (If jobs won't delete out of the queue, reboot the laptop and they should disappear). 4. Right click on the printer and select "Remove Device". 5. Go to the appropriate website to find the driver to download and install. Make sure you know the correct Operating System version before you download (Almost all laptops will have Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit. To find out which: Start>Right click on Computer>Select Properties) When their are multiple options for drivers to choose try to stick with any PCL5/5e driver or a Full Package Driver. Once the driver is downloaded install and follow any instructions. Sometimes the driver will instruct you to plug in the printer and sometimes it won't. If it does tell customer to plug printer back into power source, turn on, wait until it cycles up, make sure no trouble lights are lit on the printer, and then plug into the laptop. If the driver install does not tell you to plug in the printer: Start>Devices & Printers> tell customer to plug printer back into power source, turn on, wait until it cycles up, and then plug into the laptop. While it is being plugged into laptop watch the Devices & Printers folder to see which new printer is installed. Right click Set it as the default printer (if not already). 7. Right click on the printer again>select Printer Properties (not just "Properties") and print test page. 8. Add printer in Autostick
