Printer Troubleshooting Steps
Dongle issues - many don't work with Knox. Must use the Tripp-Lite dongle for best results. If it stops working, unplug it for 30 minutes then try again. Mango - not used by many. There is a reset button on the side next to the USB port which will reset the device. Printers - If not working, check cable connections. Power off/on. If that doesn't work, try a Power Drain (unplug cables then hold Power button down for 35-45 seconds to completely reset). If that doesn't work, try replacing cables. NOTE: shorter, thicker cables are better than long, thin cables (these can degrade the signal). If the issue is printer hardware, they won't be able to print from notepad or do a test print either. Escalations: include printer Make, Model, and Serial # (you can Google the Make/Model to find the location if it isn't obvious). Note in the escalation all the steps you tried and any error messages coming up on the printer and tablet. NOTE: printers must NOT have HP+.
