Printer not printing or not recognized by the tablet

* Verify all your cables are securely connected with no bends or breaks in the shielding. Ideally you�ll feel a snap when the cables are connected properly. * Delete data from the Print Spooler, HP Print Service, HP Smart, and or iPrint&Scan in Knox. * If issue still persists: - Disconnect all cables and and power off the printer and tablet - With the power cord disconnected, press and hold the power button on the printer for 35-45 seconds then release - Reconnect all the cables, power on the tablet and printer - Once the printer has finished initializing, then try to print * If issue still persists: - There could be an issue with a cable or power cord. - If they are using an extension cord or surge protector, advise them to plug the printer directly into a power outlet * If issue still persists: - Have the rep swap the Dongle and USB printer cable * If issue still persists: - Try connecting the tablet to a different printer * If issue still persists: - At this point if the tablet is still not connecting to the printer, please reach out to Hardware for further assistance Issues with ink adhering to labels ------------------------------------------------ * If they are using a long extension cord, try plugging the printer directly to the outlet. * If they are in a cold environment, you may need to let the printer heat up prior to printing
