New vehicle showing as Used or Used showing as New.

Check Detail by VIN in DSPlus under the 'Vehicles' menu.

The 'Fact Warranty..:' should have NV for a New Vehicle.

If anything else is there, it indicates a Used vehicle.

This can be changed in IVM on the Vehicle Details page in the Condition drop-down box. This page is accessed by clicking the vehicle title on the Vehicles tab. Change the New/Used option then click Save at the bottom of the page.

The status can be changed back by Polling or by an Autostik upload unless the Primary vehicle override for Status is set to IVM. If it is not set to IVM, DO NOT change the setting - this will affect other vehicles in the inventory. Notify the DS Rep who services the lot of the change so he/she can update it in the laptop and advise the dealer to make sure it is correct in the DMS (if they have Polling service).
