I created a pricing rule in VinMotion, but it didn't apply.
There are a few things that can keep a pricing rule from applying: 1. Incorrect Start Date or End Date. Rules process immediately if the Start Date is today's date, but for future Start Dates, they process early in the morning on that day. The same applies to the End Date. 2. Missing Criteria. If no criteria is selected, the rule will not apply to any vehicle. 3. Trim-level Criteria. If the rule is set to apply based on the vehicle Trim, the Manufacturer (OEM) Trim is used in the calculations. If the dealer puts in a Trim other than the OEM Trim, it will not match and the rule won't apply for that vehicle. For example, if the rule states that the trim is "Denali" and the vehicle's trim field has "Denali - AWD" then the rule will not apply to the vehicle.
