How to determine who administers a website.

There are a number of ways to do this. 1. Often the name of the webhost will be visible in the header/footer of the customer's website. If not... 2. Check the source. Right-click somewhere in the body of the webpage and choose the option to 'view source' (the best place is on one of the vehicles in their vehicle list - sometimes the host of the vehicle page is different from the host of the Home page of the site). The exact verbiage will vary depending on your web-browser. 3. Ping the site. Sometimes pinging the site, (from a DOS prompt type: PING www.domainname.com ). In certain instances this will resolve the name of the hosts site. 4. Traceroute the site. If you still cannot determine the site's provider a trace route may indicate via the hops. (typically the latter hops in-line). (From a DOS prompt type: TRACERT www.domainname.com). 5. If all of this fails ask someone at the dealership. After all, it's their website, and they're paying someone for it. Someone there 'should' know. (Information courtesy of Jeremy)
