How do I update my dealership contact information in VinMotion?

  1. Click on 'System Preferences' then 'Settings' and click on the Dealer tab.
  2. From the Dealer tab, go to the Contact Info tab under Dealer Settings.
  3. Make the desired changes and click the black 'Save' button at the bottom to save the changes.
    1. These edits update in our system immediately. Data partner sites don't get the information until the next feed is sent.

NOTES:

  • The 'Website' field requires the http:// or https:// before the www of the website address. An error will be flagged if that part of the URL is missing.

  • If you are changing a contact name/phone number, also check the Global Comments by clicking the 'Freehand' tab. Many times these comments have contact information that may need to be updated. Make the changes in the appropriate box then click Save.
