How do I Add/Edit Global Comments (applying to All, New, Used, Certified)?

In IVM (inventory.vehicledata.com), go to Settings -> Dealer then click on the Freehand tab.

Comments placed in the Global box will apply to all vehicles, those in the New, Used, or Certified boxes will apply to only the New, Used, or Certified inventories.

The dealer can use any combination of these boxes.

 

NOTES:

  • If a comment is put in Global & Used it will appear on the websites twice for the Used vehicles. Global comments should not be repeated in the other boxes. Comments are not filtered - they appear on websites as the dealer entered them.
  • Global comments only process overnight and will not display on any website until the next morning.
  • Dealer Specialties sends the Freehand comments before the Comments section from individual cars, however the webhost may move them to after the 'personalized' car comments.
