How can a DIY dealer update certifications for multiple vehicles without going into Edit for each one?
Have the dealer go to the Vehicles tab in IVM. Make sure the Status drop-down is set to Active, then select Certifications from the View drop-down.
The 'Filter' button at the top of the page defaults to 'All' (for all vehicles). The dealer can hover over the button and select 'Without' then 'Without Certification' to display only vehicles that are not currently Certified in Inventory Manager.
The Mileage column lists the current mileage in place in the system. It can be updated on this page.
The Certification column has a drop-down box with all available Certification options. Once the mileage is correct for each vehicle and the appropriate Certification is selected, click the check-box to the left of the thumbnail to flag that vehicle. Click Save at the bottom of the page to save all changes.
NOTE: If a large number of vehicles need to be updated or if the dealer is frequently interrupted, it is best to make the changes in smaller batches so Save is clicked every 15 minutes or so. This is because IVM will time out after 60 minutes if Save is not clicked and any changes not saved will be lost.
