DS Insight Overview (update 8/13/24)

**Different account types will have access to different options.** DS Insight is the place for tools, marketing information, and management reports. * Location: https://insight.vehicledata.com. (NOTE: If a rep can't get into the site, have them use the 'forgot password' link on the logon page. If their email address is not found, have them use the "Don't have an account?" link from the logon page to register.) * The Dashboard tab has 6 available widgets for quick reference information, including: - Polling Dealer Status (per dealership with Polling service) - Recent Data Orders and Cancellations (per dealership) - Rep Revenue (by market and date range) - Vehicles Added Through VM - Vehicles Without Photos (by Route ID) - Vehicles Without Price (by Route ID) * The Reports tab has multiple reports available including: --Product penetration report (off the Franchise tab) This report shows the number of dealer packages for the region/franchise and compares against the national average (Both COS and Franchise) --Weekly Revenue report (off the Franchise tab) This report shows a revenue total for each Lot Tech for a given time frame. The default window is the last seven days. --Days Since Last Service report (off the Dealer tab) This report shows the number of days since lots in the market were serviced. --Polling Dealer Status (off the Polling tab) This report shows pending orders for polling and their status within the queue as well as orders that have gone active in the last 7 days. --Vehicles Without Photos (off the Dealer tab) This report lists vehicles missing photos. * Toolbox tab - Orders tab - used for ordering Labels, Clipping, CraigsList Premium (CLP), Photo Overlays. - Cancellations tab - used to submit service cancellations for dealerships. - Franchisee Contracts - used to order fee-based services for dealerships. * Marketing tab - Products & Services tab - marketing sheets, pricing sheets, documentation for various products and services - Competitive tab - information about competitor's products - Trade Shows tab - upcoming trade show information - Training tab - training videos and PDF documents *Polling tab - Polling-related information. * Powerlinks - settings pages for dealer accounts. Can be edited here. * Tech Support tab - for Support use only - Inventory tab - used to back-fill Options for dealership vehicles - License tab - enables Support to provide an override code or pull up a market's license number. - Vehicle tab - enables Support to check vehicle information and manipulate photos. - Misc tab - used by Support to remove/backfill stock photos for a dealership.
