Clipping has been removed, but the showcase photo and the supersized photo are different. Why is this?
If using an approved DS clipping provider, a backup copy of the largest available photo is usually kept for removal purposes. That means that if a supersized photo is available, this is the photo that is kept as backup. In rare cases, photos may be clipped multiple times. In some instances, one round of clipping was done when there were only showcase photos and then another round is done when supersized are now available. The first round kept a showcase backup, and the second round kept a supersized backup. When clipping is removed, the process runs where it brings in whatever backups we have. Since we have a backup from when we only had showcase and one from when we had supersized, the showcase backup will update the showcase photo and the supersized backup will update the supersized photo. Escalate this issue to a team lead to have the matter fixed.
