Cars.com "Seller's Comments" shows contact information that is not in our system.

If contact information in the Cars.com "Seller's Comments" section for dealer listings is showing contact information that is not in Global Comments, Vehicle Comments, DSPlus, or the data feed, the information was probably entered into the Cars.com back-end tool - "MyDealerCenter". Below is an email from Cars.com Support with the procedure the dealer can use to edit this information: It appears that the dealer is referring to the their "Batch Tagline." Batch Taglines are editable through MyDealerCenter. The dealer can update this himself. Here are the directions: Simply go to http://www.dealers.Cars.com and login on the left hand side of the screen. From there, go to "Inventory Editor" (visible in the purple bar at the top of the page). This will bring up a menu, the second item of which says "Batch Tagline." Click on this item and you will open the page for editing the tagline. Here is the basic path: Dealer Center > Inventory Editor > Batch Tagline When you are done editing the tagline, click "Apply Tagline" (below the tagline box), and your new dealer Batch Tagline should appear on Cars.com within 24 hours.
